A New Chapter for Bere Marsh Farm Staff, volunteers and friends came together last week to celebrate the retirement of Bere Marsh farm manager Elaine Spencer-White. People gathered in the Threshing Barn for a warm reception to thank Elaine for all her hard work at the forefront of the farm’s development for the past five years. She has now handed over the reins to Hannah Bosence, previously the CRT's Volunteer Manager. Hannah is now the Farm Estate Manager and will be taking Bere Marsh Farm forward. She said: “We've achieved some wonderful things already, but now is the time to grow our relationship with the public even more. “I want to show that if we can increase participation numbers and engage people in what we stand for, this venue will be an even brighter shining light for everything the CRT is about. “It was wonderful to come together on Friday to celebrate Elaine’s huge achievements at Bere Marsh Farm and I am proud to now start in full capacity in this role.” Elaine Spencer-White's retirement at Bere Marsh Farm People gathered together for Elaine Spencer-White's retirement.
