Thank you to everyone who came and all our stall holders- and a special thank you indeed to The Teddy20 Santa Sleigh for bringing the guest of honour to open the market for us.

Visitors enjoyed browsing a wide range of local producers and craftspeople offering Christmas treats and gifts, including Purbeck Ice Cream, Mikey’s Dog Rescue, The CoCo House, artwork by Kirsty Baird, Dorset Chocolate Company, The Lavender Project and photography by Marilyn Peddle.

The CRT also had its own stand, where we sold willow wreath bases, willow stars, jams made from our own fruit, nestboxes made by the volunteers, Pig in Blanket swirls made from BMF pork, CRT calendars and mulled wine.

The Buzz Café was open throughout the day too and proved a real hit with visitors as they relaxed in the festive surroundings.

Hannah Bosence, Bere Marsh Farm Estate Manager, said: “The Christmas Farmers’ Market was a real delight and we were so pleased to welcome so many visitors to the farm.

“We thoroughly enjoyed teaming up with Teddy20, which provides emotional and financial support to children and young people suffering and undergoing treatment for cancer. We thank them for including us on their Santa Sleigh route.

"The Christmas Farmers’ Market was a huge success and we hope all our stall holders had a great time too.”

Keep an eye out for more dates for Farmers’ Markets at Bere Marsh Farm in the coming months. Our next one is set for Saturday, April 11.
