Danielle Dewe Chief Executive Officer Danielle was appointed CEO of the CRT in 2021. Her role is to develop the overall strategic direction of the CRT and to direct the operations of the Trust. Working with the support of the Trustees, Danielle oversees the delivery of complex projects, ensuring full adherence to budgets and schedules. Most recently this has involved steering the CRT through an intense period of change and establishing the charity’s position in an increasingly crowded and competitive marketplace. Danielle is also responsible for the management of the CRT's property portfolio in conjunction with the Estates Team, all Governance, Fundraising and Communications, People and Culture. “Looking back over all my previous roles, it is the CRT that stands out as one of the most demanding jobs that I’ve taken on and has therefore been the most enjoyable and rewarding! No two days are ever the same, as we continue to navigate continuous socio-economic turmoil. “One of the greatest rewards from my tenure so far has been watching my CRT colleagues continue to grow, both individually and collaboratively, as we lead the UK in protecting, promoting and regenerating our land and all life on it.” Outside of work, Danielle can be found running half marathons to fundraise for Sarcoma UK, a cause close to her heart or going on long North Norfolk coastal walks with her energetic spaniels. With any spare time left over, and determined to live her best life, Danielle is busy studying for a Masters in HR and learning to play golf!
