Pierrepont Farm wildlife monitor volunteer Register to volunteer Pierrepont Farm is a haven for wildlife and we’re committed to regenerating and preserving it. Help us track and protect biodiversity on our farm by joining us as a wildlife monitor volunteer. Across the UK, many plant and animal species are in decline. To conserve and potentially restore these populations, we first need to understand them. As a wildlife monitor volunteer, you’ll play a key role in gathering data that informs how we manage our land and demonstrates the positive impact of nature-friendly farming. There are opportunities for weekly, monthly, and annual surveys available to fit alongside your own commitments. This science will help monitor populations and be used to plan how to manage the landscape to protect wildlife and demonstrate the effects of nature-friendly farming techniques. We need volunteers for these wildlife survey areas: Birds Butterflies Dormouse Footprint Tunnels If you have experience identifying any of these species, we’d especially love to hear from you by registering using the button below.
